JOKKO’s members and volunteers live and work all around the globe. Our members come from all five continents. Our backgrounds are diverse: we work in diplomacy and foreign aid, are employed in international organizations and financial institutions, and teach in academia and schools.

What unites us is a common belief in the importance of civil society in international relations. Our mission, as an internationally founded organization, is to channel resources to contribute to the alleviation of the most extreme forms of poverty that some street children and under-privileged youth face.

Such goal can be attained through continuous collective efforts to eradicate the barriers which prevent their educational, social, and physical advancements. We believe that the best way to meet this end is to invest our energies and funds in the development of sustainable social and educational infrastructures.
